Sharp was born to Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. She received a full scholarship to The Boston Conservatory for her passion for school theater. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp determined to go into the theatre following her graduation from Cum Laude with an B.F.A. She appeared in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatre performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp has been working in both on the screen and on stage is working on a number of unique projects. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. If she's not in either front of cameras, or working in a studio to record the music of her choice, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in shape boxing and studying Krav Maga.. She also enjoys playing piano as well as long, arduous road trips. Sharp resides with her husband and children living in Los Angeles.
