She released her debut single, Here in 2015 when she was 19. The song received praise both from listeners and music critics. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone called the track one of the Top Songs in the year 2015. In that same year she debuted her album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts. This includes those of the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. It was different since a lot of people reacted to the conversation she conducted with rapper Rap-Up on her journey to learn to love and be herself. Cara includes messages of kindness and loving yourself in her songs. The music of Cara is directly from her struggle with mental illness, insomnia as well as other problems. In a Reuters interview she describes her album as half-tumultuous and half complete. Her growth was aided by therapy and encourages other people to seek assistance if needed. Alessia Cara has been a Canadian musician since 1996. Her parents come from Italian origin. Alessia Cara's parents bought her an instrument at the age of 10. This was her beginning with music. After three years, at 13, she began singing her favorite tracks through YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic opportunity to show others her the talent and the courage.
