Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in the year 2010 when her smash songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and talent for writing emotional songs make her unique. In the end, she signed a major-label deal for her label Polydor Records and began making arrangements to launch her debut album.
